The Poggio dei Gorleri wines are obtained exclusively from our vineyards located in the following areas of Diano Marina: Gorleri, Andora, Albenga; Cenesi, Pieve di Teco; and Perinetti, for a total of about 10 hectares.

Our 30-year-old vineyards are composed of Ligurian mass selections and our 10-year-old vineyards are planted with clones of vermentino and pigato coming from mass selections of our own vineyards, as well as Ligurian and Sardinian vineyards. Vine training technique: Guyot and spurred cordon.

We produce pigato and vermentino grapes in Andora, Albenga and Diano Marina, and granaccia and dolcetto da ormeasco in Pieve di Teco. Our vineyards are located on hills whose rugged soil offers good water retention, crucial to the production of quality grapes. The soil can vary considerably from area to area – higher content of clay and iron in Albenga, and limestone in Diano Marina.
